In a short while, Google may present a Chromecast having total Bluetooth support and sturdier WiFi connectivity. It appears rather probable that the dongle is going to have the similar design as the existing version, having Google just making internal changes.

It was rather supposed that Bluetooth support will be added, as Google has stated at the FCC earlier this year that it has scheduled to present such an update. The existing version of Chromecast has a Bluetooth chip, that has its use at some stage in the setup process, but future modulations of the device may present complete support for the standard and open up the streaming dongle to have the option of more flexible connectivity with rest of the devices.
