WhatsApp freshly released its latest feature named as ‘Delete for everyone’. The feature enables the users to Delete Messages after they have been sent. Though, the option to delete is just visible for 7 minutes after a Message has been sent. But it seems as if a new-found bug enables the users to delete messages even after the time period of 7 minutes.

As it has been reported, non-beta WhatsApp Android users on v2.17.395 can use the bug in order to delete messages after 7 minutes of getting them sent. What they are required to do is to simply send the message and just keep the chat window opened. Keeping it open for more than 7 minutes will still display users the option to delete the message for all the people present in the group.

The website explains that the delete window is interfering here, as whichever time WhatsApp notices the window is open, the internal timer fails to get completed and a message can be deleted at whichever time a user wishes to get it deleted.

We suppose that WhatsApp will be fixing this feature in the upcoming updates. Though, for the moment, users can make its use out of it as much as they can.

Just some days ago WhatsApp presented this feature to all the non-beta users.

If you sent a text by error or by accident, now you can delete that message by just long-pressing on it and then by selecting the ‘Delete for everyone’ option. Doing so will delete the text from your chat thread and also from the receiver’s chat thread. Whereas the cancelled message will be deleted from the notifications of iOS, on Android it will get displayed with “This message was deleted for everyone” text.

This thing should be noted that both of the people must have the same version of the app installed in order to use the feature. This feature also works on WhatsApp for the desktop app and web.

This is one of the big features that are not yet presented in the freshly unveiled WhatsApp Business app.
