The Ghana Premier League Aduana Stars centre back Yakubu Mohammed has been signed by the Tanzanian giants Azam FC on a three years deal, according to the local media reports.

The former Tema Youth defender was the key member of the squad during the club’s triumph in the G6 tournament. Yakubu Mohammed was named the best defender of the tournament, which was played in January this year.

The 19 year old Yakubu was part of the Ghana U20 squad that represented Ghana in the just concluded 2015 African Youth Championship in Senegal.
