Best upcoming phones: Top smartphones of 2018

Last year we saw multiple as mix series but what set them apart were the different features each device had. However the trend that stuck out most this year was that each Phone manufacturer opted for a bezel-less display. Also 18:9 aspect ratio was another trend followed by even small manufacturers. today we show you some top smartphones of 2018 as rumored till now.

2017 saw the revival of Nokia’s 3310 packed with current technologies yet keeping its nostalgic feeling. HMD Global also unveiled the Nokia 6, Nokia 5, Nokia 3 and most recently the Nokia 8, which promoted it’s ‘bothie’ feature. A camera that enables the user to take a picture of themselves as well as the scenery at the same time.

Huawei made a big impact this year with its Huawei Mate 10 line. Competing with the likes of Apple and Samsung, Huawei maintained a top position as its latest releases featured artificial intelligence (AI). The AI capabilities put Huawei in the forefront as it featured its very own Kirin 970 processor which meant that the camera and device itself were smarter than most.

Samsung recovered from its disastrous Note 7 of 2016 and released the Galaxy S8 and Note8, both of which had overall hardware improvements, along with several modifications compared to earlier editions. Not forgetting Apple, who released three iPhones, the Iphone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X.

Here is a rundown of 10 phones that are rumoured to be released this year.

Samsung Galaxy S9

The Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus may be ready for MWC 2018 next month February 2018. We’ve also heard another rumor pointing to a late February announcement, followed by an early March launch.

Samsung looks set to keep the 3.5mm headphone jack with a new leak suggesting the phone will have the port along its bottom edge.

According to Bloomberg who spoke with people familiar with the matter. As device rumours circulate, the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus mirror its predecessors but feature enhanced cameras and processors, which may not be quite the pulling factor for Samsung fans.

Other recent rumors state that – due to the fact the OLED screens likely to be used in the phones are being made earlier than usual – the Galaxy S9 will launch in January, but that would seem far too early for many reasons, not least because people who bought the S8 wouldn’t be eligible to upgrade to it right away.

We had heard that the Galaxy S9 might be teased in January, but then launched a little later, however Samsung has now said that a January tease is “unlikely.”

What we can safely predict is that the Samsung Galaxy S9 is sure to be expensive, as the Galaxy S8 launched at $720, £689.
