Masood Alam has a unique ability to capture mood through a unique ability to capture exactly what they feel.  Even when the music industry was declining he had hope. A true artist always finds his way and with that Masood Alam did not let the failure shackle him or his love for music. It was that peak in Masood Alam’s career when he made his first cover of an album called “Imtezaj” that brought a paradigm shift in the music industry.

His creativity, his musical mastery, and his utmost dedication towards composing music that showcases every emotion, every character with accuracy made him the pioneer of the art of music. Soon after that year, the entire team of the band got affected by plaque. This was when many people see their dreams getting shattered one by one, Masood Alam held on to his bandmates till they recover completely. Masood Alam not built himself from the ashes and mastered the Art of Music but composed many artists that were extremely talented but were struggling to find a platform to showcase their passion. Masood Alam then introduced “Wajdaan Records” under the umbrella of “Imtezaj Foundry” and composed harmonious poetry to the world. This band produced and worked with many elite brands and composed music for many advertising and music industries of Pakistan but never get the opportunity to showcase their creativity.

Masood Alam is a pioneer of this band who outbreaks the Sufi and religious kalam from all the nuisance terms that were getting highly critiqued in Pakistan. This band outshined itself and produced many poetic and sophisticated harmonies behind all religious and national music. The most unfortunate thing about this band is that even after having really skillful and talented artists, it never gets the platform it deserved. Writing and recording songs for the Imtezaj Band under the umbrella of Wajdaan Records has been Masood Alam’s biggest priority along with his other advertisement and other musical composition work. He says that this album is a culmination of many years of experience and offers a new experience for listeners whilst retaining all the well-loved elements of his past composed music.
