Q: First of all we want to say welcome to you.
A: Thank You
Q: How did you come into music industry?
A: Music was always important to me. In my childhood i was interested in performing arts, i took dancelessons for 8 years and was always busy listening to music and dancing everyday until i couldn´t stop as i also wanted to become a professional dancer. Later in life i started writing my own songs and took vocal lessons.
Q: Who was your inspiration for music?
A: I always loved artists who did sing and dance. My inspiration for music were the artists i listened to in my childhood, artists like ´Janet Jackson, Madonna, Paula Abdul´.
Q: What is the name of your debut song?
A: Burning For You (Club Mix)
Q: Say something about your musical journey?
A: My musical journey took me from dancing everyday to writing my own songs to opening for boyband O-Town in 2018 in the U.S.
Q: Who helped you most in your journey?
A: . In my country the Netherlands they never seemed to understand who i am and what i´m about. When you´re a colored woman, single mom and woman artist you´re in big trouble. You can´t say that you´re an artist, if you say such a thing you don´t wanna know what will happen.. So i had to work hard, let my intuition be my guide to make things happen!
Q: Who gave you pieces of advice?
A: The only opinon i valued was my daughters, sometimes i asked if she liked the music even when she was 6 years old i asked her and yes she liked it.
Q: What do you do now a days?
A: At the moment I´m going through a difficult time as I recently lost my 25 year old daughter Tanisha. We´ve been sick from unsafe tap water and she died on April 3.
Q: Let us know something about your future projects.
A: My 2nd album ´DNA Damage´ was delayed but is coming up. I also wrote songs for my daughter. She was also busy with ideas for her own music project and i will try to finish it for her, so soon you can hear her voice on Spotify.

A: I released my album `Sharmila´ , singles ´Burning For You (Club Mix)´, ´respect Your Body´ and ´DNA Damage´.
