Mounting Work Request for Buddhist Painting Placed by Canadian Japanese‐Style Painter

It’s been a while since our international trade was started off and the number of these repeated customers has been raising that is always appreciated. We are very much contented as it proves our works to have been highly evaluated.

This episode is about one of those repeated orders from a Canadian gentleman.

He had previously requested us to mount Japanese paintings he had done into hanging scrolls.

Mounting Work Request from Canadian Japanese – Style Painter
On this topic, I’d like to introduce the course of action taken to mount four artworks of Canadian Japanese-style painter.

His artworks previously we worked on to mount were such marvelous pieces therefore with anticipation, we couldn’t wait for the arrival of another piece of work.

Here is the arrived centerpiece. A large Buddhist Painting, depicting Thousand-Armed Kannon.

Much the same as his former pieces, the artwork looks brilliant with the details delicately painted. Its depiction of the halo surrounding the Kannon is my favorite part.

We came to an arrangement with the customer about the combination of the mounting fabric which, as you see below, sober colored fabrics are used.

The following kakejiku is the one we mounted this time. The solemn ambiance brought about by the Kannon is spectacularly expressed. Having been a large-sized artwork, it gives an even more powerful impression after the transformation to a kakejiku.

We dispatched the completed kakejiku to the customer soon after the completion of our work.

He was absolutely pleased by our work and as usual, sent us a message which we found encouraging.

The kakejiku arrived in perfect condition.

You did a spectacular job. Pure perfection.

Thank you very much.

We appreciate his words that let us believe our work is worthwhile. We can’t say thank you enough to our customers returning us with their message in delight.

We take mounting work requests from overseas Japanese-style painters like we’ve done in the episode above.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any inquiries regarding the same case.
