For Spring/Summer 2018, Jun Takahashi’s Nike Gyakusou collection addresses warm weather problems, ranging from flash rains to steamy temperatures and beyond. Per usual, the assortment is “all about helping runners achieve a Zen-like focus by finding design solutions for common distractions,” says Nike.

Here, new fabrics are paired with innovative technology to present highly functional styles. Highlighting the capsule is the Gyakusou Hooded Jacket, which quickly and conveniently converts from a sleeved covering to a breathable vest. The outerwear boasts a removable hood and sleeves, a body mapped vest to determine where rain is hitting the torso, and a waterproof fabric that ensures rain will not penetrate.

In addition to the standout hooded jacket, the new Nike Gyakusou Collection includes a packable long-sleeve jacket, a Dri-FIT long-sleeve top, utility tights, Dri-FIT short-sleeve T-shirts, a running cap, and unisex quarter socks.
