1. Grafana

Feature: It’s a open-source tool.

Grafana is an open-source data visualization tool like Kibana but unlike Kibana we can use this tool with on the top different kinds of data but most commonly used with Graphite, InfluxDB and also Elasticsearch. One more feature of Grafana is that giving more support for metrics as compared to Kibana.

Grafana has a more feature which helps to replace Graphite-web, which helps users to create very easy dashboards. In Grafana visualizations we called panels and in each different panels, we can use to show different types of data visualization which makes it more beautiful. Grafana can help for graph, single sat, table, heatmap, and free text panel types.

Like Kibana, Grafana also offers customization options that help the users to slice and dice data in any way they want. Users can also play with colors choice, labels, the size of the panels, etc.

Graylog is another open-source tool for data visualization. It’s working as a log management platform where all the data comes under the inside of a centralized system. Graylog can transfer huge terabytes of data every day and then start processing on all huge data and stores for the further future process according to user requirements. The web bonding of the Grafana allows interacting with data to extract all data information in less than milliseconds and arrange the data into useful different types of visualization methods like, charts, tables, etc.

The Grafana is currently available in three types of the license agreement:

To get all those features as shown above, we must have to go through the license or monthly plan. But if the organization is very small and they only want to analytics then we can choose free open-source and after that, we can use python or R studio for further analysis. Because startup companies or individual business person is not able to pay per month as the price in dollars. So better we use Python or R Studio for further results. It will take some time but we no need to pay any extra cost for analytics results.
