Shapiro and Butts won the “Beantown” fest’s Award for Best Editing. With rapid-fire capturing of back-to-back-to-back bursts of game action, to extended scenes of deeply affecting moments (you, as I did, will cry here), these guys damn well earned it.
“Fallen Drive”
“Fallen Drive” begins as an engaging examination of high school buddies reuniting to celebrate ten years post-graduation. Then the momentum driving this tale of long-awaited revenge just sorta falls off a cliff.
Doesn’t help that the flick’s most compelling actor (co-director and writer Nick Cassidy) is rendered persona non grata early on in these ponderous proceedings.
