"Deadline” (2009): D-O-A

Here’s a phrase rarely used since the time of childhood.

Now is the time.

Stinky poo.

As in, the atrocity “Deadline” is stinky poo.

Flush it. Fast.

To call the pace of this psyche horror flop Plodding is an insult to plodding. Classifying these incessant and seemingly interminable scenes of nothingness as tedious is to discredit all that is mind-numbingly dull. 

Hell, even the “twist” ending fails to generate even a flicker of fright. Which, considering what we have excruciatingly endured up to this merciful moment of denouement, only makes sense. Why make it scary now?

So are we all aligned? This is just dead ass awful.

“Deadline”. More like “Flatline”.
