Hooray for Rob Savage! Dude co-wrote, directed and brought toour screens the tight terror tale “Host”. And he asksfor scarcely an hour of our time in order to get scared senseless.

During COVID lockdown in the UK a sextet of friends, five Brits and a Yank, gatherfor a video cyber seance by ZOOM. From the first online meeting frame, theseperformances, bothindividually and collectively, resonateof respectability all ‘round. Alas, however, should this Creepy call-outsucceed, we all know what that spellsfor the fate of this garrulous gang.

And when at last Rob unleashes the inevitable “savage”, it is a cornucopia of chaotic carnage that concludes this descension into demonic deviance.
