ICC Champions Trophy 2017 Schedule, Matches And Teams

The ICC Champions Trophy 2017 is all set to begin from 1 June and will continue till 18 June, 2017. The eight edition of the champions trophy will be hosted by England with India as the defending champions. The inaugural match is scheduled between England and Bangladesh at The Oval, London. Here is the full details of the Icc Champions Trophy 2017.

According to the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 time table, the most awaited match of the tournament will be Indian vs Pakistan. Both the teams are geared for the upcoming match which will be held on June 4.




ICC Champions Trophy was first held in the year 1998 and was hosted by Sri Lanka. The eight edition of the series will see the participation of eight teams England, Australia, New Zealand, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, South Africa and Sri Lanka divided in two groups. England, Australia, New Zealand and Bangladesh are placed in Group A while India, Pakistan, South Africa and Sri Lanka are placed in Group B.

ICC Champions Trophy 2017 will have a total number of six warm up matches which will be held from 26th May to 30th May 2017. The first warm up match was played between Australia and Sri Lanka on 26th May, 2017 in The Oval London. The second warm up match was played between Bangladesh and Pakistan on 27th May, 2017 in Edgbaston, Birmingham. The third warm up match was between India and New Zealand on 28th May 2017 at the Oval, London. Australia will be playing against Pakistan on 29th May at Edgbaston, Birmingham in fourth warm-up match. The fifth warm-up match is between New Zealand and Sri Lanka on 30th May while sixth and last warm-up game is India vs Bangladesh tie at The Oval, London. The ICC Champions Trophy will begin from 1 June, 2017.

ICC Champions Trophy 2017 consists of complete squads of Eight Teams. The Coach and Captain of the sides are:




– Australia – Coach: Darren Lehmann, Captain: Steve Smith

– Bangladesh – Coach: Chandika Hathurusingha, Captain: Mashrafe Mortaza

– India – Coach: Anil Kumble, Captain: Virat Kohli

– England – Coach: Trevor Bayliss, Captain: Eoin Morgan

– New Zealand – Coach: Mike Hesson, Captain: Kane Williamson

– Pakistan – Coach: Mickey Arthur, Captain: Sarfraz Ahmed

– Sri Lanka – Coach: Graham Ford, Captain: Angelo Mathews

– South Africa – Coach: Russell Domingo, Captain: AB de Villiers.
