“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3” actor Dave Bautista and “Aquaman” star Jason Momoa will collaborate in “The Wrecking Crew,” directed by Angel Manuel Soto. Soto, known for “Blue Beetle,” is teaming up with MGM Studios for his next project. Scripted by Jonathan Tropper, creator of “Warrior,” the comedy was inked before the June writers strike. The movie, described as a buddy comedy, is produced by Jeffrey Fierson, who previously worked with Momoa. Soto’s recent success with “Blue Beetle” adds to his acclaim.
