What's the difference between Coca-Cola Diet and Coca-Cola zero?

Regardless of its health risks, Coca-Cola is a favorite among millions of people in the world, and it is also one of the most consumed beverages. As we know, it has many types, including two that show that they contain a small percentage of sugar: Coca-Cola Diet and Coca-Cola zero. But have you ever wondered: What is the difference between them?

The difference between Coca-Diet and Coca-Cola zero
In addition to filling one of them in a nice silver package, and the other in a good-looking black package, it was found that there are other differences between Coca-Cola Diet and Sugar-Free Coca-Cola, according to the Coventry Telegraph website .

The difference between them is further
In a statement on the brand's website, the company explains the difference between two of its highly preferred soft drink packages.

The statement stated: "Both drinks are free of sugar and calories, but the sugar-free Coca-Cola zero has the look and taste of Coca-Cola, while Coca-Cola Diet includes a different mixture of taste that gives it a lighter taste."

Therefore, they each have a different taste, with the intention of making the sugar-free Coca-Cola zero taste similar to the other whole. At the same time, Coca-Cola Diet is unique in its taste.

Coca-Cola zero components
Coca-Cola zero includes sodium citrate, while Coca-Cola Diet contains citric acid.

Coca-Cola Zero also contains water, the color (caramel E1520d), phosphoric acid, sweeteners (aspartame, and acesulfame potassium), natural flavors that include caffeine and an acidity regulator (sodium citrate).

Coca-Cola Diet ingredients
As for Coca-Cola Diet, they contain fizzy water, caramel (E150d), sweeteners (aspartame, and acesulfame potassium), natural flavors that contain caffeine, and phosphoric acid.

Coca-Cola has halted Zero production because of its low sales, replacing it with something better!
Early this year (2020), it was found that the Coca-Cola Company had suspended the production line of the Cola Zero drink, and that there would be another trial of a healthy version that did not contain the sugar that gives the main brand the same taste.

Instead, major soft drink companies will release a new product without sugar, trying to offset the aforementioned low sales of sugary drinks over the past decade.

This step comes after the issuance of previous new products that aim to provide a market for health products such as Coca-Cola Diet that was issued in 1982, Coca-Cola zero that started in 2006, and Coca-Cola Stevia that appeared this year.

The Coca-Cola company pledges to produce a sugar-free version that is exactly the same as the old recipe first issued 130 years ago and without adding sugar either.

Consumers usually complain that the different production lines did not offer the same original flavor when the sugar was removed.

Consumers are said to be buying less soft drinks amid warnings of sugary drinks in recent decades.
