LeBron James Trying to Trademark "Taco Tuesday"

Happy Taco Tuesday to you....will LeBron try to sue me for trademark infringement for saying that. NBA legend and current Los Angeles Laker, LeBron James, has filed a trademark registration application for the term TACO TUESDAY but get in line LeBron as a lot of people are trying to do the same thing.

On his Instagram account, LeBron James, has posted a bunch of videos discuss his love for Taco Tuesday. On August 15th, LBJ Trademarks, LLC, the holding company for LeBron's intellectual property, filed a trademark registration application for the TACO TUESDAY term in a class that covers social media and podcasts, to name a few. LBJ Trademarks owns 37 other registered or pending trademark registrations including ones for the terms  JUST A KID FROM AKRON and I PROMISE. Good to see LeBron putting that hefty salary towards governmental filing fees.

LeBron is not the trendsetter here as there are currently 10 live and pending TACO TUESDAY trademarks pending. The term is pretty watered down right now so LeBron may be able to squeeze this one by but backlash has been pretty bad on social media so he might just walk away from the attempt. As I referee and LeBron has never walked, ever.
