The Cgem held, on May 11, in accordance with the provisions of its Statutes and its Internal Regulations, its Board of Directors in the presence of the Presidents of the CGEM Regions and of the newly elected or re-elected internal federations, following the process of renewal of the governing bodies of the Confederation, launched on January 4th.
The following were elected at the end of this process:

CGEM Dakhla Oued Eddahab: Mr. Mohamed ZEBDI President and Mr. Erragheb HORMATOLLAH General Vice-President.
CGEM Draa Tafilalet: Mr. Lahoussine NACEIRI President and Mr. Abdellatif EL IDRISSI General Vice-President;
CGEM Fès Meknes: Mr. Omar TAJMOUATI President and Mr. Hamza BENADBALLAH Vice-President General;
CGEM Laayoune Sakia Al Hamra: Mr. Mohamed Salem BENMASSAOUD President and Moulay Brahim CHRIF General Vice-President;
CGEM Marrakech Safi: Mr. Youssef MOUHYI President Mr. Hamza BAROUDI General Vice-President;
CGEM Oriental: Mr. Noureddine BACHIRI President and Mr. Amin FATMI General Vice-President;
CGEM Rabat Salé Kénitra: Mrs. Bouthayna IRAQUI President and Mr. Hassan NADIR General Vice-President;
CGEM Souss Massa: Mr. Driss BOUTTI President and Mr. Brahim SAHIB General Vice-President;
CGEM Tanger Tetouan Al Hoceima: Mr. Adil RAIS President and Mrs. Chaïbia BALBZIOUI General Vice-President.

The Presidents of the following Internal Federations were also elected:

Automobile Federation: Mr. Adil ZAIDI President and Mr. Ali MOAMAH, General Vice-President;
Federation of Trade and Services FCS: Mr. Hicham SAADLI President and Mr. Yassine KARIM General Vice-President;
Federation of Cultural and Creative Industries FICC: Mrs. Neila TAZI President and Mr. Abdelkader RETNANI General Vice-President;
Federation of Forest Industries, Graphic Arts and Packaging FIFAGE: Mr. Mounir EL BARI President and Mr. El Habib DOUKKALI General Vice-President;
Federation of Maritime Fisheries FPM: Mr. Ali OUKACHA, President and Mr. Toufik JOUNDY General Vice-President;
Federation of Banking and Financial Sectors FSBF: Mr. Abdelmounim DINIA elected President and Mrs. Ouafae MRIOUAH elected Vice-President General.

The CGEM Board of Directors also approved the appointment of 5 business council presidents, namely:

Mr. Aziz TAARJI at the Morocco-Mauritania Business Council;
Ms. Ghita LAHLOU at the Morocco-Israel Business Council;
Mr. Majid IRAQUI to the Morocco-United Arab Emirates Business Council;
Mr. Najib CHRAIBI at the Morocco-Turkey Business Council;
Mr. Abdou JAIDI at the Morocco-Romania Business Council.

This meeting was an opportunity for the members of the Board of the CGEM to discuss current economic subjects such as social dialogue, the preparation of the 2023 Finance Law, payment deadlines, reimbursement of the VAT credit, as well as as international issues.
