Liam Gallagher shocked fans by debuting a new blonde hairstyle on his Instagram account on Thursday.
The singer-songwriter, 49, showed off his newly dyed platinum locks in a selfie for his 1.5 million followers in which the musician was seen smiling up close and personal for the camera.
The Oasis frontman sported a much lighter hair color, flashing a broad grin as he playfully captioned the pic, “Ey blondie.”

Within moments, the musician’s fanbase reacted to the image, with a daydream: “Liam Blondagher.”

Another follower compared him to ‘a late 90s Robbie Williams’, while others gushed, writing: ‘Still handsome’ and ‘blonde looks good on you Liam’.

The Oasis frontman is currently Down Under on tour to promote his latest album ‘C’mon You Know’ and also performed at the Splendor In The Grass festival over the weekend.
Liam’s shows have been marred by controversy after he lambasted an Australian reviewer for only giving his show 3.5 stars.

Gallagher, who performed at the Aware Super Theatre, lashed out at Sydney Morning Herald reporter George Palathingal on Twitter.
‘Thanks [sic] for your review last night, George, it’s good to know you didn’t have a BIBLICAL time like the rest of us. From there you have a massive p**sflap,’ the UK crooner tweeted.
