The Ministry of Health and Social Protection has recorded 2,782 new cases of Covid-19 infection in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases to 1,235,920. 12,656 new tests have been carried out, bringing the total number to 12,018,929 since the start of the pandemic. The positivity rate increases to 21.98%.
As for the number of people declared cured, this rose to 1,195,791 with 3,562 new remissions on Thursday, indicates the same source, noting that the remission rate has reached 96.8%.
The ministry also announced that 9 new deaths have been recorded in the past 24 hours. The number of deaths from the new coronavirus thus stands at 16,142 and the fatality rate at 1.3%.
Regarding active cases still under treatment or medical follow-up, the ministry reports that their number has reached 23,987 people (-789), including 150 serious cases (+22). He further pointed out that the occupancy rate of Covid resuscitation beds has increased to 2.9%.
The number of beneficiaries of the vaccination operation reached 24,861,479 (+808) for the first dose, 23,348,138 (+1,044) for the second, 6,577,915 for the third (+4,194) and 3,733 (+1,395 ) ) for the fourth.

- 285 cases in Fez-Meknes: 103 in Fez, 70 in Meknes, 27 in Taounate, 14 in Taza, 11 in El Hajeb, 15 in Sefrou, 18 in Boulemane, 14 in Ifrane and 13 in Moulay Yaacoub.
- 239 cases in Marrakech-Safi: 108 in Marrakech, 26 in Rhamna, 11 in Essaouira, 10 in Chichaoua, 20 in Safi, 27 in Youssoufia, 3 in Al Haouz and 34 in El Kelâa Des Sraghna.
