I feel really Burnout lately. I happened to find some of these posts that I reblogged somewhat describe how I feel and I know it’s really negative.

But I was thinking of coming back to Tumblr and maybe blog about stuff. Not sure if I will post art here again because I discover even Tumblr had new algorithms now. Some of the newest posts on my dash from the blog I followed  only appear for a few days then it suddenly disappeared in front of my eyes.

I thought that person deleted it but when I checked, it was still on their blog. Another algorithm to deal with just like most of the corporate owned social media. This wouldn’t be so bad if it wasn’t so punishing to content creators that spend hours on their work.

I feel that most of these algorithms favor quantity over quality and it has to be entertaining at the same time. Maybe by this point, small artists who needed money and couldn’t get a job are better off trying to make it in eCommerce and freelance sites or learn an extra skill to make money.

There’s also non art related sites like “beermoney sites” as a backup if they need some extra pocket change.
