In the republic day the national flag of India is also flying in Auckland Eden. India defeated Newzealand in 2nd t20 match. Today Newzealand won the toss and scored 132 in first batting. In reply India scored the essential run within 17th over, losing three wickets.
Newzealand batting line-up is very leading for t20 matches. But such batting line-up has been smashed at the Indian bowlers. Martin Guptill returned to pavilion, scoring 33 rums amd Shivam Dube has sent Collin Munro at 26 runs.
After two opener batsmen return to pavilion, the batting fallout had been exposing. Captain Ken Williamson hs showed nothing special. He scored 14 runs, playing 20 balls. Ross Taylor tried to handle the situation but he also returned to pavillion at only 18 runs. But Tim Seifert scored 33 runs, playing 26 balls.
Atlast Newzealand stopped at 132 runs. Shardul Thakur, Jaspreet Bumrah and Shivam Dube took one wickets while Jadeja took two wickets, giving only 18 runs.
At Indian innings start India lost two wickets. Virat and Rohit returned scoring 8 and 11 respectively. But Lokesh Rahul and Shreyas Aiyar handled the situation. Shreyas returned, scoring 33 runs in 44 balls but Rahul was on the crease and scored 57 runs in 50 balls.
In reply from New Zealand bowlers, Tim Southee and Ish Sodhi took one wickets. India has been forwarded in series. But Rahul-Shreyas are hero of this win.
