Today we join our hostess, Danielle, as she shares with us how she celebrated her son's 19th birthday. What better way to commemorate another revolution around the sun than with Casino: Dead Money?
Danielle decided that she wanted to host a Murder Mystery party for her son's 19th birthday. She says,
We had planned on being away but at the last minute our plans had to be changed. I purchased Casino: Dead Money on Monday morning (around 9am) and everyone turned up in costumes at 6pm the same day. I spent ALL day organizing!
With fifteen guests, the majority of which were 19 year olds, everyone played a unique character. According to our hostess, Danielle,
They had a blast. We were fortunate enough to have had some experience hosting murder mystery evenings before so we knew what was involved and could improvise a bit - I wouldn't suggest leaving it so late to organize if you've never done one before. The download was easy to follow, everyone got into character and the instructions given were great.
Their house is large so Danielle had the casino upstairs in her pool room where she had a poker table set up along with the pool table and finger foods like cheeses, kabana, dips, crackers, and punch. She set up the downstairs as the surveillance area where she had video footage of the casino playing on the TV. She also set up the dining room for a formal dinner that was composed of mini pavlovas with fresh fruit and cream and chocolate brownie. This is where the evening continued, and finished, after dinner.
Thank you for the great review of Casino: Dead Money. We are very pleased that you, your son, and his friends had such a great time, and we look forward to providing you with another great murder mystery in the future!
