While 2020 has been a struggle, A Pryce In Blood was a great distraction, and a substitute for the lack of travel, for our host. Let's see what Sydney had in store for her guests during the summer of Covid-19.
The decorations included a table that was set in the Roaring 20s style with gold accents, and there were Top Secret pencils and booklets for keeping track of clues throughout the party.
We had Spotify play 20s music, and some family members dressed up as their character.
The Menu centered around the game, with a specialty dish for each round of play. Food and drinks consisted of virgin Bloody Mary's, red wine, and Sprite with Grenadine, as well as caprese salad, pasta bolognese, and lasagna!
Dessert was a gorgeously gory red velvet cake with cheesecake frosting.
2020's summer of Covid-19 posed a lot of problems for families and individuals. Travel was restricted and going out was a no-go. Having fun with a Murder Mystery was a great option for our host, Sydney, and the rest of the family.
It took us a little while to figure out sharing the character information, and we went around a few times to repeat and include some of the information we had. After this initial hiccup, we went into Round 2, and by the end of Round 3, every one was thoroughly engaged in figuring out the murderer!
