Our host, Nick, proved there's plenty of Murder to go around the boroughs of NYC. He gathered his friends together for a night of intrigue using the Murder in Manhattan mystery party kit. He says:
Held in the Upper East Side of New York City (aka Queens), guests from all around the globe (aka the tri-state area) gathered to celebrate the most anticipated penthouse speculator of the decade – the anniversary of Fisk Enterprises (aka the most exciting Halloween gathering I have hosted at my apartment).
I was pleasantly surprised how all my guests stayed in character and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. While not everyone was an expert in their character’s background, their performances were first-rate. As the head caterer, I would round a corner with a tray of food to find characters enthralled in a heated argument or cover up. At times, I forgot we were playing a game and listened in due to sheer curiosity.
The menu consisted of pizza sliced into finger-food style appetizers. There were also pigs-in-a-blanket, chip dips, and bruschetta.
Everyone had the time of their lives. For an event type I had no experience in throwing, it went swell. No one left disappointed. The party took some thoughtful planning, but I have to say I enjoyed every second of it. Without a doubt, I am throwing another murder mystery with a Playing with Murder kit in the near future (I’m eyeing that cruise one).
Thanks, Nick, for sharing this awesome party with us. We're glad that you and your guests had so much fun with Murder in Manhattan and look forward to being part of your next bash.
