“Just BREATHE…..” I told myself as I silently peaked through the leathery opening of the bag.
After looking for some time, out of the folds of the bag I felt a sharp pain in the back of my head. Unconsciousness seeped through my body as the light darkened around me.
Darkness……musty smells, confusion. I slowly roused from my forced slumber. “How long has passed?” I asked myself…“Where am I”?
As I began to open my eyes a sharp pain penetrated through my body as light seeped through the slits of my eyes.
The next thing I remember was getting surrounded by spiders, I felt like vomiting over the gooey insects. With the little courage left I ran for it, squishing the gooey spiders. Killing them, there was blood everywhere and I finally gave in. I vomited and there was vomit and spider blood everywhere. I fell on the floor and crawled to the exit, in my own vomit and the spider blood. Yes, What luck! The door was open. I was barely limping for my life . Oh no! On my way out I realised one of the spiders had bitten me. As I walked, I felt the spider venom running through my veins. I reached a building that looked somewhat like a colosseum.
It was a trap… Finally, I saw him looking at me from the top of the colosseum. “I knew it, This is how I'm going to die” . Then, I heard a gun fire, which was meant to alert all the Gladiators to come out and fight. The spider venom came into play …
That is how, I figured it out, who it was…‘The Invisible man’ because he always uses gladiators to do his dirty work.
“Finally here to get revenge”, a harsh voice said. “Yes, for I am 'Ares' your destroyer, here to fight you back”, I dared him.
“How can you see me? I am the invisible man , I can not be seen by anyone except…..gods”, said the invisible man.
“Well I am the God, for I am the god of war. Sent by my Father Zeus, the king of Gods, to defeat you and put you in your rightful place in hell”. “Challenge accepted”, said the invisible man.
Then the gates opened and the fight began… 20 gladiators came out the gates. They were wearing golden metal helmets, silver metal armour and had shields and swords.
The first man showed some courage and stepped up to fight, as I started running to get my weapons by the metal gates. They were for me to use , but I was too late to reach the weapons. The gladiator got the first hit on me .The others started to laugh.
The gladiator said, “run if you don’t want to die”. “You dare insult a god, you shall die”, I said . “Try me”, said the gladiator, “my pleasure”, Ares said.
The second blow was ,by me Ares, the gladiator laughed after my blow and then fainted by the power of my blow. Then another two came into the battle area.
As Ares was striking, five other gladiators came into the ring. In the middle of the strike ,all of the gladiators caught him and threw him on the ground, the ground was squishy with other gladiators that had come before, their blood , vomit and tears made the ground squishy and gross.
Ares stood up and unleashed his wrath, spitting fire made all the nineteen gladiators into dust. Then I said, “you are the next Invisible man” .
“You think you can defeat me Ares, I’m the invisible man” he said.
“I can defeat you now, that I have defeated you puny little minions”, said Ares, as he was flying towards the invisible man. As he was flying, the invisible man and his comrades started firing arrows at Ares. Ares put his hands up and snapped his fingers, he deflected all the arrows. Now the invisible man was starting to get scared . So he started to run as he was running , he fell on the seats of the colosseum which were as hard as steel.
So he broke one of his teeth but in hard pain he still went ongoing , from “his destroyer”. Once he reached the highest seat of the colosseum he jumped from the wall. As he fell on the ground, he felt something mushy and gooey …….then he smelt it and as the saying goes, who has smelt it, has dealt it. Then he realised, what it was… dog poop. His head fell on the gooey and soft, dog poop and his back bone fell on a stone. His whole body was in a shock .
He could barely stand up but with all his power he stood up and started to limp. His whole body was aching but still he kept on going because there is not one moment to lose or ……else. Well he didn’t want to think about that, because well he is being chased by a god . Running I found a place to hide in the rats alleyway. He was still behind me in his eyes he had the thrust of killing me. In the alleyway I found something, the best place to hide .
