AMMA Jayalalithaa Died (1948-2016) : Tamil Naidu chief Minister, Amma Jayalalithaa (1948-2016) who was undergoing treatment for two months now was shifted to ICU yesterday evening. She was admitted in Apollo Hospital 2 months back in Chennai. But yesterday evening at 4:30 pm she went through a severe cardiac arrest and the officials had an important meeting after that. Today she lost the fight against life at 10.30 pm today (5-12-2016). This is a news of great sorrow not only for Chennai but also to the whole country. Jayalalithaa is known as Amma and Puratchi Thalaivi. Rest In Peace Jayalalitha!

As Amma’s health continued to be critical for the past few hours, all the Cinemas in Chennai cancelled their shows, Anna University has cancelled it’s examinations for tomorrow, State Governor, Vidyasagar Rao has rushed to Chennai immediately. She was in a very severe condition when she was taken to the ICU. Nine units of the Rapid Action Force with about 100 members each airlifted by central paramilitary forces are on standby.

But Jayalalithaa, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu state, has died in a Chennai hospital, nearly three months after she was admitted there. She was 68. Jayalalithaa breathed her last at 11.30pm, hospital said in a statement. Great lose to the Indian politics, she was amazing politician and people too. Pray for her soul may rest in peace.
