Absolutely Beautiful Wedding in Castle Leslie

There is always something so beautiful about Castle weddings. From the classic scenery to the staircases, to beautiful picturesque backgrounds, it is every bride’s dream to have a princess-like Wedding. I was so captivated that I almost skipped capturing some beautiful and dreamy moments.

DRESSING UP

Every wedding photographer has the rare privilege of seeing both the bride and the groom before they meet in the church to say their vows. I started my photo journey from Vanessa, the bride’s room, in one of the castle’s cottages. Her dress, hair, jewelry, and makeup were so simple yet so beautiful. Her entourage was not left out. The color of their dresses complimented the ambience of the castle. The pictures I took of them, especially the ones outside, were so lovely. After dressing up, the bride and her bridal train had me take photos of them with champagne in hand.  They were so bubbly and genuinely excited for their friend.

It was time to go check up on the groom. He was almost done dressing up when I arrived. He had on a classy suit that complimented the bride’s dress so well. His entourage met me with all smiles, posing like gentlemen for my camera. I had so much fun shooting them. We had a quick stop at the castle bar before they gathered to go to the church.

VANESSA AND JOHN – THE UNION

The bride’s dress was elegant in all its minimalism. It had drapes of rhinestones that graced her arms at the sleeves and highlighted her bodice. She was entirely beautiful. It drizzled for a bit, but the sun came out soon after.

St. Salvator’s Church is an impressive location. Located in the Castle Leslie Estate, it is indeed a dream location for weddings. With its timeless architecture and furnishing, the ambience highlighted the wedding colors perfectly. I knew I was going to have amazing pictures of the event.

Everyone in the church hall had the same reaction I had when I first saw Vanessa in her dress. She was undeniably beautiful. She strolled down the aisle accompanied hand in hand by her father, and when the groom saw her, he could not stop beaming. Their vows were so beautiful. You could tell that they absolutely loved themselves. They rode to the reception in a vintage Rolls Royce 1949 limousine.

THE SWITCH UP

From the vintage setting of the Castle Leslie wedding and the antiqueness of its architecture, you would expect a ballroom reception or something similar.  The reception had a proper dance floor and crazy lights. It was a turn-up.

Before this, I took beautiful pictures of the couple outside. There were also pictures by the lake. The bride and groom’s entourage were photographed too. It was laughter and joy everywhere. I made sure to use the scenery very well. It was represented in all their outdoor pictures. It was a really dreamy wedding.

At the reception, there were drinks and fun. They had a three-tier cake, which was the highlight of the room. Their wedding reception lasted well into the evening with dancing, eating, and everyone having a good time, generally.
