Let us know why there is an inverted idol of Hanumanji in this temple:

According to the legend, in the Ramayana period, when the war between Lord Rama and Ravana was taking place. At that time Ahiravana changed his form and joined Lord Rama's army. After this, when everyone was sleeping during the night, Ahiravana made Shriram and Laxmanji unconscious with his illusion power and took them to Patal Lok. When the monkey army came to know about this, there was a stir.

When Hanuman ji came to know about this, he reached Patal Lok in search of Ahiravana, there Bajrangbali killed Ahiravana and brought back Lord Shri Ram and Lakshmanji. It is believed that Sanwer is the place from where Hanuman ji went to Patal Lok.

At the time when Hanuman ji was entering to go to Patal Lok, at that time his feet were towards the sky and his head was towards the earth. For this reason, the statue of the Inverted Hanuman ji was established.
