Days Needed To Perform This Luck Enhancing Pooja:
To perform this pooja you need to give your 16 days from the Astmi of mahalaya/pitrapaksh to the Mahastmi of Navratri. In reality the Mahaastmi will fall on 17th day when you have to perform the Samapti of this pooja.

How To Perform Luck Enhancing Pooja:
Before telling the step I want to say that if any one is ill, weak or not able to keep fast then don't do the fast. without fast also we can perform this pooja.
We can start this pooja on the Astmi of Shraadh paksh and for that follow the steps-
- Performer has to keep the fast and during the worship days if possible use the milk and related products.
- You have to avoid sex during the 16 days of pooja.
- No hard talk with any one and don't do anything wrong with any one.
- During this pooja days think that every one who is getting in touch with you is the incarnition of mahalaxmi and so give honour to every one in life.
- Don't break the routine and if you have trust on supernatural powers then only do this pooja devotedly.
- Do believe that your wish will definitely get fulfilled by goddess.
Easy Way To Perform This Luck Enhancing Pooja:
- After getting fresh early in the morning spread red or yellow asan and sit with respect by giving honour to the asan.
- Now put the photo or statue or Shree yantra on a wooden Chauki or pata and before that spread a washed cloth over it.
- Now take a sankalp that why you are doing this special pooja.
- Now tie Kalawa with 16 knots in wrist.
- Now perform Panchopchaar pooja of mahalaxmi.
- Don't forget to offer cloves and original camphor and do offer kheer too.
- With this you have to install a kalash too in the North-East corner. You can also perform this pooja by facing toward WEST direction.
- In kalash you have to pour water, a silver coin, nut/supari, mango leaves or betel leaves and then put a coconut. Also make a swastik with turmeric or astgandh on kalash and coconut.
- Offer a deepak of Ghee and gugal stick or gugal dhoop if available.
- Now chant 16 mala of any laxmi mantra also Offer ahuti of 16 cloves daily by chanting any laxmi mantra but put swaha at the end of that mantra at the time of giving ahuti.
- Do the fast as per your capacity only otherwise do the process daily. Also during whole day keep remembering mahalaxmi and think that she is fulfilling your life with happiness, prosperity.
- On the Mahaastmi of Navratri do finish this pooja by feeding 16 females baby, brahmin and also satisfy them with gifts and dakshina.
- You can keep the mauli in your safe.
During pooja daily do pray to goddess to fill your life with happiness, health, wealth, prosperity.
Note: If any one is not able to perform or offer too much than just offer milk and mishri in bhog daily. In the next day do offer that milk with mishri under any bad or peepal tree.
Maintain the secrecy of your pooja, gossiping about your pooja may decrease the power of your pooja. Do involve your mind and body in mahalaxmi for the 16 days and maintain purity in every thing.
