On July 14, 2014, Albert’s Transportation was pleased to participate with Brides Against Breast Cancer in a charity event at the Boathouse in Pennsauken, New Jersey.  The well attended and fun event was designed to raise funds to make sure that resources and information are available to the women who are fighting Breast Cancer and the families that are supporting them.

Brides Against Breast Cancer travels across the United States giving wedding gown fashion shows.  The organization brings to these shows hundreds of new and lovingly worn designer bridal gowns.  After being shown to an enthusiastic audience, these gowns are available for purchase at discount prices. The brides to be who purchased the gowns then put on a fashion show displaying the gowns they purchased.

According to their web site, Brides Against Breast Cancer, “will contribute $2 million to help people impacted by cancer this year”.

Wanting to support charities in general and women battling breast cancer in particular, Albert’s Transportation thought this would be a great event to sponsor.  According to Bob Schiavo, Manager of Albert’s Transportation, “We have been trying to sponsor as many charities as we can and we thought since we do a lot of weddings that it would be a great event … which it was”.

Albert’s Transportation brought out it’s 28 Passenger Luxury Party Coach and Rolls Royce adding to the day’s fun for all involved. They also contributed to the fund raising by raffling off gift certificates.
