According to biology and ecology extinction is the term used to define the end of last living creature of a specific Species. Simple Animal life first appeared on earth since 600 million years ago. Since then billions of species have existed but 99.9 % of them are now Extinct. What they left behind are there fossils. Pieces of history that offers clues to life millions of years ago. Today after looking at the African elephant, white shark, salt water crocodile and blue whale a thought might come to our mind that they are huge animals but I reality way much gigantic animals than these have been on our planet but most of them are extinct now. The extinction of these gigantic species has many reasons but to some extent it’s a bit better that these gigantic creatures are extinct now otherwise the life would not have been as easy as it is now. If you still didn’t agree with us than just imagine for a second, the great carnivorous creature of Jurassic Park movie chasing you for a snack. Although there are many gigantic historical animals that have gone extinct but we have selected a few which are still very much popular in research by scientists. Well enough for the drama, let’s get back to the list.
