Fairy Tail gets stage play adaptation
Thanks to Kotaku
Fairy Tail joins the list of succesful anime series getting a stage adaptation, such as Naruto, Rurouni Kenshin and Black Butler so far.
It will be directed by Akiko Kodama of Takarazuka fame!
The play will premiere on April 30th and run till May 9th, 2016.
There’s not much details for now, butactor Shuto Miyazaki is set to play Natsu.
More details on new Fairy Tail Zero anime
While there’s no official premiere date yet (it’s supposed to premiere in January), the cast has been announced.
- Mamiko Noto as Mavis,
- Katsuyuki Konishi as Yury Dreyar,
- Yoshihisa Kawahara as Precht Gaebolg,
- Hiroshi Shirokuma as Warrod Sequen
- Akira Ishida as Zeref
It has been announced recently too that Hana Kanazawa will voice Zera.
Fairy Tail manga spoilers chapters 465 – 466
And the timing could not be more perfect as we are getting more focus on Zeref’s past in chapter 465.
While there were rumors that Natsu would die at the hands of Zeref (yea right!), there’s quite an unexpected twist that I’m not going to tell you here.
I’m going to tell a hint: “I am Zeref ___________”, he told Natsu.
He also told him something else about his true nature, but Natsu refuses to believe him.
Now while there’s rumors of Zeref dying, I think it’s still too early for that. There’s still Acnologia.
However, the truth of what happened 400 years ago begins to unfold.

Chapter 467 – Speculation – seemingly titled ‘Mother’s Key’
With the rumors of next arc being about Lucy, it’s not surprising that Lucy rescues Brandish and she begins to tell the truth about her mother, so it would begin that way.
We will be seeing more of Acnologia and fodder people being crushed Titan style.
Brandish ends up attacking Lucy anyway and overpowering her, but Aquarius rescues her.
Chapter 468 – Speculation – seemingly titled ‘Memories of the Stars’
So, Aquarius knows Brandish?
Will there be a Lucy vs. Brandish battle?
Updated January 9: the connection is finally defined between Brandish mother’s, Grami, and Layla, Lucy’s mother.
Brandish finally knows the truth about her mother.
Fairy Tail DVD/BD and manga volume release schedule
The latest BD, Fairy Tail 18, just came out on December 1st, at a current price of $39.99.
While the latest manga volume 51 will be out on December 15, at a current preorder price of $8.99

Volume 52 is slated to come out on January 26th, 2016
Volume 53 will come out on March 22nd, 2016
Volume 54 will come out on May 3rd, 2016
Volume 55 is slated to come out on July 12th, 2016
