REVIEW: AEW – All Elite Crate Spoilers – July 2023

A quarterly curated box from AEW

Well, so now I’m confused. I actually cancelled both of my professional wrestling crates months ago to save some money, and I guess I actually have no idea how many of these AEW crates I have left. So, if anyone of my readers likes seeing these, I honestly have no clue when these will end. This could be the last one, maybe I have three more, your guess is as good as mine! So, while we’re getting these let’s just enjoy the ride. This box is a prelude to AEW All Out 2023, the show that always seems to be one of the more exciting shows they do year after year. I think it’s almost two months away, so it’s not like this box will have much to do with the actual show, but it’s still cool to see what comes. So, without further ado, let’s see what we have this quarter.

For those new to these subscription crates, both All Elite Crate and Pro Wrestling Crate usually pack in anywhere from 8 to 10 items every month – these include a guarantee of a Micro Brawler Figurine, two T-shirts, a lapel pin, and an autographed 8 by 10 photo. Usually there’s a couple of small additional items in every box making this well worth the money spent. I would recommend, if you can swing it, purchasing a yearly subscription as you get a pretty hefty discount doing so. In the past, I have subscribed to a number of different boxes, generally not liking most of them to be honest, but the guys over at Pro Wrestling Tees always do a fine job of picking great items making these my favorite subscription boxes of them all.

Spoiler Card:

STILL no front row tickets!!

Shirts:

I could take or leave the MJF shirt due to it being somewhat bland, but I absolutely love the Sting shirt as always. While it’s nowhere near as amazing as the Sting / Robocop shirt from earlier in the year it’s definitely pretty great. I’m low-key sad I did not have this box on Independence Day, as it would have been a cool way to be vaguely patriotic without looking like a caricature of an American.

Micro Brawler:

I’m actually surprised there hasn’t been a Jungle Boy Micro Brawler prior to today, but the wait was definitely worth it. This is a cool figure and a great addition to my collection that I thought I was done with lol.

Sticker Pack:

Not much to say about stickers, but these are cool.

Poster:

The Mimosa Mayhem match between Chris Jericho and Orange Cassidy was such a great highlight from the Covid era of AEW. It definitely sticks out as one of the better gimmick matches with a dumb-sounding stipulation that I’ve ever seen. Not sure I’ll hang this up, but it’s cool to have.

Autograph:

P P P P Powerhouse….Great choice for an autograph, love this dude when they let him do stuff and hope he gets a big push sometime.

Pin:

I’m still bummed Jamie Hayter is injured, hope she’s back really soon!

Socks:

Soooo, these socks are never comfortable, and I largely dislike them. That said, having a tag team on them was a cool idea and this is likely the best pair of this type of sock they’ve done.

Flag:

Finally, another flag to add to my flag collection I never knew I’d have.

Conclusion:

Overall, this is still a weaker box from these guys, which is a shame because the quality and selection of items used to be really good. The Sting shirt and the autograph were great, but those damn socks they love are one of the reasons I cancelled these boxes aside from saving money. If you are new to these sorts of things, Pro Wrestling Crate and AEW All Elite Crate aare easily the best out there, and despite my saltiness they are a cool way to rack up some cool swag without breaking the bank. Not sure if I’ll have any more of these, so if I do, I’ll be sure to talk about it here!.
