Leona, one of the newest bands signed under Universal Records Philippines is turning heads with their fresh release, “Kahit Saan.”

Comprising a talented group of musicians, Ken Tiongson (Vocalist/Rhythm Guitarist), Faith Angelyn Garcia (Vocalist), Clyde Manuel Amoranto (Lead Guitarist), Jake Lorenz Nicolas (Drummer), and John Ace Lorenzo Gatuz (Bassist), Leona brings a unique blend of energy, creativity, and musical prowess to the table. When asked why they decided to name their band Leona, the Bulacan-based pop-rock outfit shares “Obviously, Leona is someone’s name. It is because we created a persona that is eager and is willing to give their all for their dreams. “Leona” is soft to the ears, but effortlessly reflects prowling prowess. And we feel like ganon kami. Like whatever happens, we will continue to make music and have it known. We will proudly perform just like how a lion proudly roars.”

“Kahit Saan” is a delightful exploration of togetherness. The band said that they started writing the song during summer of 2022. They recall “After ng gig usually pumupunta kami sa bahay nila Clyde para mag bonding and syempre mag song writing. Then habang nagsusulat kami, naisip namin na what if hindi naman heart break song i-sulat namin? After brainstorming, we came up sa concept na very chill lang, about sa loved ones and tropa para pang masa pa rin yung song.”

Since their previous releases are about heartbreaks and sadness, they are expecting for their listeners to have a refreshing experience listening to “Kahit Saan”.

“’Kahit Saan’ is a happy love song naman. Magaan and upbeat. Super excited na kaming marinig nila ‘to kasi we think they’ll love this song as much as we do! ~LEONA hindi na umiiyak era~. (char) Sana ma-LSS sila lalo sa mga mahilig magroadtrip! HAHA,” the band happily tells with much excitement.
