Sufferings in Loneliness

Tags: lonely

My Gracious God!
He is; lonely again.
It is more terrible than in the desert.
These individuals are harder than stone.
There devotee lies who is thought
to be dearest for the Teacher.
He sleeps like all,
maybe his rest is sounder than others
he is the most youthful.
I am alone awake.
I suffer together with him here.
Yet, I am dumb as wall.
No one notices me.
I resemble shadow.
Maybe I am not human
and I don't have my own spirit.

Fragment from poem "Possessed" by Lesya Ukrainka

Translation and Photography by Igor Marinovsky from Family Sufyan

It is possible to feel lonely surrounded by people.
