#GOODMAILDAY : Sigma Brushes

Today I received my Sigma Brush Order I placed about a week and a half ago. I have never owned Sigma Brushes before, but I have only heard good things about the quality of there brushes. For a “middle of the road” cosmetic company the prices are very reasonable.

So, What did I order? Since I have never used Sigma Brushes before I wanted to try a foundation brush. I have had trouble finding a good foundation brush, lately I have been trying out a lot of different brands, but I also believe the foundation you are use plays a role in how the brush applies the product to your face. I want to find a dense foundation brush that had a larger surface area for buffing product into the skin.

The first brush I picked up from Sigma is the  F80 Flattop Kabuki brush.

I love Blending my eyeshadow looks. I enjoy a more sultry and effortless look that blending creates. The second purchase I made from Sigma was “The Perfect Blend Kit”. This set of 6 different blending brushes was introduced in October from Sigma along with two other kits, “Extreme Color Pay Off” and “Spot-On concealer”.

The Perfect Blend Kit include 5 blending brushes intended for different blending techniques.

The kit includes:

E32- Exact Blend for intense color onto the outer corner.

This brush reminds me of flat shader brush use to pact color on the lid, but I can definitely image using this brush in the crease for a rich define color.

E37-All over blend for blending harsh lines all over the lid.

The tip of the brush is a doom shape, and would be great for not only blending, but taking shadow from the inner corner up under the brow bone.

E38- Diffused Crease

With blending brushes similar to this one, I use it to buff color into my crease to give a softer look.

E39- Buff and Blend for small area precision blending.

The firmness of this brush is perfect concentrating color in the outer corner.

E48- Pointed Crease Brush for darker shade pick up and more tailored blending.

This is the brush you want for very defined gradient looks, the pointed tip aids in precision blending.

The last brush that was included in “The Perfect Blend Kit” is the E71- Highlight defuse.

This is the brush for highlighting areas such as the brow bone and inner corner.

I also got a free gift with my purchase, a smaller E25 blending brush. In my opinion it is very similar to the MAC 217 blend brush, which is an all time favorite of mine.

I haven’t played with these brushes yet, but make sure you stay tuned to my blog as well as my YouTube Channel  for more reviews. If you are interested in any of these brushes, or want to see more of the products Sigma has to offer, check out my link ! http://www.sigmabeauty.com/?Click=525604

xoxo Cassie
