Human Target #10 finds Christopher Chance enlisting G'Nort for a peek inside the OA archives to confirm the truth (or not) about Guy Gardener's death. The truth just may shock you (or not).
Not quite. In the last issue, Chance learned Guy might still be alive, so he enlists the hapless, comic relief Green Lantern, G'Nort, to sneak into the archives of OA and confirm Guy's death. What follows is a series of overly-long, slow-paced, mildly comedic scenes of Chance getting information from the Guardians of OA.
Is Guy still alive? No spoilers here, but the answer isn't all that surprising.
The big down point of this issue is the realization of the down point in the last review. There's no story here. Chance is waiting to die, so Tom King pumps out the slow-paced filler to get to the 12th issue. In the last issue or two, the plot bore a critical piece of information that's mildly interesting but has no bearing on Chance's life/death trajectory. This issue is more of the same. The series is just treading water until either Chance dies or King pulls a last-minute bait-and-switch. Everything in between is pointless fluff.
Regardless of the pointless story, Greg Smallwood's art is gorgeous. Smallwood nails the hip, classy mid-century aesthetic with clean lines and oodles of charm. The story looks great, even if it goes nowhere fast.

Is It Good?
This will be a short Review, despite The Human Target #10 being a larger-than-typical floppy issue with the cover price to match. It's going to be short because not much of note happens.
When last we left Christopher Chance, the mystery surrounding who "killed" him was solved. The poison ravaging Chance's body was planted by Guy Gardner, intended for Lex Luthor in retaliation for the murder of Ice. Chance and Ice killed Guy near the beginning of this series, so that's the end. Right? RIGHT?!?

Bits and Pieces:
Human Target #10 is a gorgeous, well-constructed issue that goes nowhere and does nothing important. Smallwood's art is fantastic, and the dialog between diverse characters is mildly amusing, but the plot is at a dead stop.
