I think in the corner of his mind was a little jukebox that played all of his favorite memories as they would take him back to 1958 when we were in love. In 1973 when we found that love again, he would pull from those memories and write the most beautiful love words to me.
Today they speak beautiful love expressions on the pages and pages of love letters written straight from his heart to my heart and I am blessed to have them preserved on paper. I have the music that he loved to hear and as I listen to those old songs, I can imagine him speaking them to me. I have been blessed to have lived this wonderful, exciting love story with a second chance to love and grow old with him! Love can be grand with a “do over”!
