WAAX wanted a warm up set ahead of their huge’ I AM…’ tour, so they played a free show as the mysterious MAZDA666 (but like I said, it was actually WAAX).

For what was meant to be a quick 30-minute show, we were all sweaty and still going at the 45-minute mark. Anyone who had put it together that WAAX were going to play straight after Clowns sold out Crowbar Brisbane to celebrate their release of Nature/Nurture was a very, very happy human.
