Scientists created a chip to treat Rheumatoid Arthritis. The small device sends electric pulses to the Vagus Nerve aka the superhighway of the nervous system.

The nerve stimulation inhibits the body's production of TNF the molecule that causes rheumatoid arthritis. The device could replace drugs with electricity.
