After spending 5 years testing the technology, the very first Solarwave 64 is finally out and it boasts of an unlimited range operating off the solar panels alone. The Yacht was unveiled by Turkish Shipyard Ned Ship collaborated with Solarwave.

Solarwave 64 consists of a carbon composite hull design from Ned Ship's Dr. Orhan Celikkol and Michael Kohler's Solar Energy system to create a luxurious 64 foot catamaran that is capable of operating with zero emissions with a cruising speed of 6-7 knots.

One of the most luxurious yachts ever built, the yacht's roof is covered with a 15 kW photovoltaic array connected to a series of kWh batteries depending on owner's needs.

The yacht has a retractable sky roof, a 6.5m tender garage, complete kitchen with lounge, guest cabins, crew cabin, rear and front sundecks and ample outdoor dining space.
