Largest Nuclear Fusion Experiment - ITER

Meet the world's Largest Nuclear Fusion reactor. ITER is currently under construction in Southern France. It aims to get more energy out of a fusion reaction than is put in and it uses readily available hydrogen as fuel. So it has the potential to give us a limitless energy source.

35 countries are collaborating to build the $20 billion project. They aim to reach maximum power by 2035. If successful, it will lay the foundation for future fusion power plants.
