Deadly Tornadoes Ripped through parts of the south. In Louisiana a funnel cloud was spotted as the state was hammered with wind and rain. In Georgia tornadoes were confirmed in several counties. More than 10 people are confirmed dead and more than 20 injured.

In parts of Mississippi a tornado claimed at least 4 lives and injured at least 20. Thousands of homes and businesses are still without power. Residents are cleaning up what's left of their communities.

The national weather services preliminary reports say the tornado ranked as an EF3. However, the hardest hit areas have yet to be assessed.
