Their show 3 Body Problem is one of the biggest releases of March 2024 on Netflix. Just like GoT, the sci-fi series is based on Liu Cixin’s novel, Three-Body Problem. The series stars Benedict Wong (Doctor Strange actor) as Da Shi, Jess Hong as Jin Cheng, Eiza Gonzalez as Augustina Salazar/Auggie, Jovan Adepo as Saul Durand, Rosalind Chao as Ye Wenjie, Lian Cunningham as Wade, Alex Sharp as Will Downing and others. Game of Thrones’ Benioff and Wiess have collaborated with writer Alexander Woo for the sci-fi series.

3 Body Problem Plot
The official synopsis reads, “Across continents and decades, five brilliant friends make earth-shattering discoveries as the laws of science unravel, and an existential threat emerges.”
As seen in the trailer, an otherwordly threat from the past has emerged and has claimed the lives of many scientists. A team of scientists will come together to discover the danger, and they’re shocked to know that it all started in 1960. A young woman made a drastic decision that has put human lives in danger today. What exactly is this threat? That’s something we will find out once the series releases.

The sci-fi series is filmed at the Shepperton Studios, including several other locations in the UK, UN Headquarters in New York City, Florida, Spain and Hawthorne and Vedra Beach.
