Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan, and Jyothika are ready to change the mood of Bollywood by bringing a psychological supernatural thriller, Shaitaan. The film is all set to release on March 8, and the Advance Booking for the film has already commenced. In fact, it has taken an unimaginable jump of almost 338.88% in just 24 hours.
Shaitaan Box Office Day 1 Advance Booking
The upcoming horror flick has registered 18,060 tickets for 3844 shows. This means that 42.64 Lakh worth of sales have been done, excluding block seats. However, this number has been a very impressive jump since yesterday.
Earlier, the film registered a sale of around 4000 tickets only for the opening day of Shaitaan. However, this number witnessed a growth on day 2, and as the release day comes closer, the numbers might get better.

Helmed by Vikas Bahl, Shaitaan might open in the range of 5 – 7 crore, according to early predictions. However, a clear picture will be offered once the final bookings are done. Currently, the upward trend in the advance booking numbers is a good sign.
More so, this advance booking number clearly impacts the successful trailer of Shaitaan, which was received well by the audience. The film is a supernatural psychological thriller, a genre that is not new for the three lead actors of the film.
Jyothika has been a part of some horror flicks, the best of them being Chandramukhi, where she played the Tamil version of Manjulika. Her Ra Ra Ra song, parallel to Mere Dholna. Meanwhile, R Madhavan has been a part of a supernatural flick called 13B.
Ajay Devgn was a part of the OG horror flicks in Bollywood like Kaal & Bhoot. However, the genre has not been functional for long, though it has been presented with a tweak in horror comedies Stree, Bhediya & others.
So, a lot of hope is riding on Shaitaan since the trailer has been received well, and the advance booking numbers are showing a positive sign. Hope the film manages to open well at the box office.
