Finally, it’s the week when the often-delayed project of Neeraj Pandey – Aiyaary will hit the screens. Having Sidharth Malhotra & Manoj Bajpayee in pivotal roles – the makers have released a short clip displaying the talent of makeup artists utilised in the film.

“Jo jab chahe roop badalta hai” this was the definition of Aiyaar cleared in the trailer of the film. This video shows how Manoj Bajpayee’s character changes his looks like a chameleon depending on the situation. Makeup artists have always played an integral part in such movies and it shows their importance in this video.

Manoj Bajpayee was asked what’s next in his platter, he said “I am producing a short film with my wife Shabana and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead. It’s being directed by Suparn Varma with whom I’ve worked earlier. I am also doing a web series called A family Man with the directorial duo Raj & DK. It’s an entirely new unexplored world for me. I plan to devote four months this year to shooting it. Then I will take a break for a few months to spend time with my daughter and wife. I think I’ve earned my time away.”

Set against the backdrop of army, the film features Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee playing the roles of army officers over a storyline that brings to the forefront corruption within the system. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the film falls next in line with the renowned filmmakers celebrated works like A Wednesday, Baby, Special 26 and M.S.Dhoni: An Untold Story.

Aiyaary also stars Anupam Kher, Naseeruddin Shah, Rakul Preet Singh and Pooja Chopra in pivotal roles. Though the film was slated to release on February 9, but was delayed to 16th February due to clearance of CBFC certification.
