Barbour International at London Fashion Week Men's SS18

Barbour International showcased the brand's spring/summer 2018 collection with eight looks including pieces from the most iconic looks to more relaxed, sleek sporty styles.

The Presentation at London Fashion Week Men's was set against a backdrop of a Barbour International Garage theme.

The looks feature from the Originals collection, which profiles some of the brand's most iconic and rugged pieces and the Sport collection, which nods to the ever strong athleisure trend.

The presentation took guests on a journey from the beginning of the brand in 1936, through to 1964 when actor, Steve McQueen wore Barbour International as a member of the US motorcycling team.

Finally, the journey ends with a preview of the SS18 collection.

Paul Wilkinson, global marketing director for Barbour said: "We wanted to delivery an experience that gives everyone a strong sense of Barbour International's style, authenticity and heritage since 1936, as well as celebrating the brand's modern day success and looking forward to its global growth for the future."

In addition to the main model presentation, an art installation of T-shirts immersed in wax created by Dundee-based wax cotton specialists, Halley Stevensons gave a playful nod to Barbour's wax legacy.

At the same time, the installation also profiles the brand's clothing evolution with a display of spring/summer non-outerwear pieces.

A live example of custom motorbike building was put on from Calum Pryce-Tidd of Debolex Engineering.

He is a keen fan of the brand and showcased some of the bikes his working on. The event was rounded off by guests being given a T-shirt referencing one of the key ears from the presentation: '36, '64 or '18.
