The Idle Man opens first Guide shop with launch party in London

Online menswear fashion retailer, The Idle Man has opened its first ever Guide Shop with a packed party in Clerkenwell in London.

Guests tucked into cocktails and beer with a live DJ spinning the tunes.

And partygoers got a chance to see the shop and fashion pieces up close.

The store is run by a team of dedicated stylists who can offer expert advice on a carefully curated edit of brands including Levi’s Vintage, The North Face Black Label, YMC, WoodWood and Soulland as well as the label's own brand The Idle Man.

Not content with just clothing they also stock an array of lifestyle products from Filmore Skincare and Global Knives.

CEO, Oliver Tezcan, who is also known for his appearance on the entrepreneur's TV show, Dragons' Den says: “The natural progression from the website was to create a physical embodiment of our brand through our first Guide Shop.

"It’s a place where customers can actually feel and try on the products whilst being guided by our in house stylists on what suits their build and size."

Tezcan, who was at the party, is the former Head Menswear Buyer at ASOS and co-founded The Idle Man after seeing a gap in the market for a purely menswear retailer.

Since its inception, the brand has seen rapid growth with the site now attracting close to one million visitors a month.

The shop is located on Leather Lane.
