The time has come! On Wednesday night, fans in Sweden had the opportunity to see Beyoncé kick off her highly-anticipated Renaissance Tour. With more than 60,000 screaming fans, the Texas native put on a show complete with robotics, UV lights and other special effects. Most importantly, fans appeared to be pleased with her set list, which reportedly includes performances of everything from “Dangerously In Love” to “Break My Soul.” According to Variety, there’s also a cover of Mary J. Blige’s “I’m Goin’ Down” thrown in there as well. As expected, fans from around the world took to Twitter to share their excitement for the tour’s opening night.
“Y’all Club renaissance is where it’s at I promise. I’m about to pass out,” one fan wrote.
“Me consuming all the Beyonce Renaissance World Tour clips across social media platforms when I should be productive,” another fan tweeted.
The Renaissance Tour is just getting started. Beyoncé is set to return to Friends Arena in Stockholm on Thursday night before heading out to Brussels, Edinburgh, Sunderland, Saint-Denis, London, Barcelona and several other cities across Europe. Fans in North America can expect to see the global superstar in July when she touches down in Toronto, Ontario at Rogers Centre for two shows before making her way throughout the United States.
