Former Washington State Cougars Senior Forward DJ Rodman has announced that he is transferring to the USC Trojans for his fifth season. He is the son of NBA legend Dennis Rodman. USC recently picked up the commitment of Bronny James who is the son of NBA superstar Lebron James. Rodman is eligible to play a fifth season of college basketball due to the impact the Coronavirus had on the 2020-21 college basketball season. The Trojans have a talented roster for next season with two NBA legacy players on their roster looking to improve their NBA stock.

Last season as a senior for the Washington State Cougars, DJ Rodman averaged 9.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game. He paired those numbers with a field goal percentage of 41.3 percent and a three-point percentage of 38.1 percent. Rodman brings upperclassman experience to a roster that has plenty of talent for the 2023-24 college basketball season. While Rodman doesn’t have much traction for the 2024 NBA Draft, this season could prove vital in him improving his stock for the NBA, the NBA G League, or an overseas league. Rodman and Bronny James will be on the same team next season with winning games being their main focus.
